SEATS. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Camry and Camry Hybrid vehicles. The second-row center and right-side seats may have insufficiently welded head restraint brackets. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 202, "Head Restraints."

WHEELS:LUGS/NUTS/BOLTS/STUDS. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2023 Camry and Camry Hybrid vehicles. The lug nuts that attach the wheels to the vehicle may be loose, which can result in wheel detachment.
Known issues
Carbon accumulation on intake valves at high mileage
Direct injection sprays fuel past the intake valves rather than over them, so deposits build up where fuel would otherwise wash them clean. The dual-injection design on this engine reduces the problem considerably compared with direct-only engines, but it does not eliminate it beyond roughly 150,000 km.
Oil consumption complaints on thin-viscosity fill
The factory 0W-16 fill is thinner than owners of older Toyotas expect, and a small number of engines consume noticeably more oil on it than on a heavier grade. Checking the level between services matters more on this engine than on its predecessor.
